Modern Woodmen’s founder envisioned an organization that would “provide wholesome social activities and character building.” Since 1883, Modern Woodmen’s lodge system of local chapters, called camps, have helped improve the quality of life for members and their communities by offering fellowship and volunteer service opportunities.
